D. G. Granade Office & Warehouse
D. G. Granade, Inc. purchased and developed 5 acres in Shingle Springs. The first 2 buildings were the new office and warehouse for the company. The office was conventionally framed wood construction and consisted of 7,300 sq. ft. of space. The exterior finish was a combination of stucco and stone veneer with a built-up roof system. The interior finish is typical of offices and very functional in its layout. The warehouse is 8,400 sq. ft. and is constructed of a pre-engineered metal building with an interior mezzanine. The exterior walls are insulated panels with R-panels above it.
D. G. Granade’s crew built the foundation and slab for both buildings, performed all of the wood framing at the office, erected the metal building, and installed the insulated panels and metal roofing. D. G. Granade’s subcontractors performed all other work.
